Spider Black Diamond is a 1 of 1 unique putter made by the jeweler and goldsmith Thomas Heyerdahl, and is given to the auction at the fundraising event GoldenChild Invitational on august 27th. The GoldenChild Foundation is arranging the fundraiser, and Heyerdahl has supported the foundations work against childhood cancer over several years. The funds raised at the auction will go to the foundations continued efforts to provide much needed funding of childhood cancer research projects, create social events and give moments of joy for affected children and their families, be a voice for the cause and enabling them to continue and expand their fundraising activities.
The auction will be held, and will end, at the GoldenChild Invitational charity dinner on august 27th, but since this is such a special item we want to open up for anyone who wants to place a bid to be given the opportunity to do so in advance. We are proud to present the Spider Black Diamond – a one of a kind masterpiece. It´s origin is a limited edition Taylormade Spider putter, that has been carefully dismantled, redesigned and rebuild by me personally.

The GoldenChild Foundation is a fund raising non-profit organisation that focus on strengthening childhood cancer research and provide moments of joy for affected children and their families. Childhood cancer is the most common reason for the passing of children among 1 and 15 years old, more than all other severe illnesses and accidents combined, and still there is no governmental funding for childhood cancer research in Norway. Annually 40 children pass each year in Norway, while more than 100 children obtain life long injuries following their cancer treatment. The need for more effective precise treatments is imminent.
According to WHO around 400 000 children are diagnosed each year with cancer, while as many as 150 000 die from the illness. However, due to the nature of a cancer treatment process for children, media has little to no access, and are unable to bring forward both the personal stories and uplift knowledge of the cause.
Therefore, we helt to raise funds, provide insights to the extent of this decease, and draw attention to the cause by arranging positive activities like the GoldenChild Invitational, drawing celebrities, partners and well-doers.
